The Newest Addition

Part of the newest addition to the NCGIA website:
When I originally set up a store-front salon, it was in an historic Main St. area of the very small, but rapidly growing Simpsonville, SC. Due to city ordinances, the storefronts and signage in the town square were required to be uniform in size, color and design, as shown here. No specific branding was allowed other than the choice of font used in the signage.
Pros: great visibility, quaint atmosphere, a lot of pedestrian traffic.
Cons: lack of displayed branding, minimal parking


Since I was relocating from a home-based cattery/salon, I already had most of the equipment and tools needed. Hence, my investment to set up shop here along Main Street was very minimal.
